Since graduating in 2004 from AUT in Auckland Gareth worked under top Sports Podiatrists and Sports Physicians at Sportsmed in his hometown of Christchurch, going on to work in Melbourne in similar surroundings with Lifecare Sports Medicine before coming back to New Zealand to open the clinic in Queenstown in 2009.

Gareth has enjoyed competing in endurance sport having completed a number of half marathon, mountain marathon and half ironman events and
the famous Ironman NZ in Taupo. He is also a keen skier and is looking forward to getting around the mountain more with his
primary school aged daughter.
He understands about sporting injuries and training loads which is an advantage in helping his patients realise their potential.
Emily is our new arrival all the way from Brisbane, having worked between sports and general practice, as well as at an orthotic lab.
She has a passion for climbing and long distance hiking and through this understands the importance of achieving your goals pain free. With
experience in all aspects of podiatry and a caring and thorough approach, she’s equipped to see you no matter what is troubling you.

Emily has also completed the infamous TA Trail here in New Zealand and was inspired to move to Queenstown after completion!
Jess is our resident Irish chatterbox. She moved to Queenstown in September 2023 after a few years in Sydney and Ireland working in
construction. She then somehow became our receptionist/administrator/assistant/clinic glue in April 2024 - juggling phone calls,
appointment schedules and answering 101 questions, making sure everyone feels welcome!
If you are in the waiting room for long enough, she'll know your life story... and you'll probably know hers!
Outside of work, you'll find her up the slopes or tracking down the best brunch spots - anywhere with good coffee!
Alita comes from a background in legal work both in New Zealand and Australia but has been the friendly face at the front desk since the clinic opened in 2009. She is a joint owner of the clinic with Gareth, is the backbone of all our systems and processes and will do what she can to help get you the best information to get the best outcome for you.
She is now part time in the clinic, the other part of the week she is now a Mum to two kids!
